ReferencesWhat we have installed, built and commissioned
A documented project is worth more than an argument. Each record sets out the context, the technical constraint addressed, the solution chosen and, where they have been measured, the results observed after commissioning.
The records below are templates intended to receive SOTIC's real projects. For each one, SOTIC must supply: project name and location, year of commissioning, installed capacity, equipment delivered, photographs, and the client's written authorisation if their name is to appear. No name, logo or testimonial is published without that authorisation.
By sector and by type of work
Cassava processing unit to document
Template: installed capacity, products made (gari, attiéké, flour, starch), equipment delivered, site duration and results of the load acceptance test.

Four kinds of engagement
Projects differ less by sector than by the type of commitment given to the client.
Equipment supply
Delivery of individual machines or lines, with commissioning and training. The commitment covers the performance observed at the load acceptance test.
Turnkey project
Study, civil works, equipment, erection, commissioning and training under a single responsibility, with one technical contact for the whole scope.
Training and support
Training of operators and maintenance technicians, support in organising production and monitoring operating indicators.
Refurbishment and compliance
Diagnosis of an existing installation, upgrading of equipment, correction of safety and hygiene non-conformities, replacement of obsolete stations.

The machine, then the people
A production line does not perform better than the person operating it. The yield gaps observed between two identical units almost always come down to mastery of the settings, discipline in cleaning and responsiveness in diagnosis — three skills that can be taught.
- Line operation: settings by product, in-process quality checks, management of batch changes, emergency stop procedures.
- First-level maintenance: greasing, drive tension, clearance checks, replacement of wear parts, reading the symptoms of a mechanical drift.
- Safety at the workstation: isolation before intervention, use of protective equipment, risks specific to rotating parts, vapours and corrosive products.
- Production monitoring: recording quantities in and out, calculating yield, identifying the causes of drift and reporting them.
What operators say
“Space reserved for a client testimonial on the quality of the installation, adherence to the programme or the support provided after commissioning.”
Draft awaiting approval — text, position and publication authorisation to be obtained from the client concerned.
“Space reserved for a testimonial on the operating results observed after one or two production seasons.”
Draft awaiting approval — text, position and publication authorisation to be obtained from the client concerned.
Institutions, industrial clients and cooperatives
SOTIC works alongside agricultural extension bodies, funding agencies, local authorities, agro-industrial groups and producer cooperatives.
These logos identify organisations SOTIC has worked with: public clients, sector bodies, development projects and processing industrials. They imply nothing about the volume or the nature of the work carried out for each, which we are glad to set out on request. Any organisation wishing to have its logo removed need only write to us.
Let's discuss what we can install for you
The projects shown here are templates awaiting documentation. For a specific reference matching your sector, ask us: we will put you in touch, with the agreement of the client concerned.
