The site is served over HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate. Exchanges between the visitor's browser and the server are encrypted, including when forms are submitted.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, technical descriptions, diagrams, photographs, illustrations, trade marks and logo — is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, without SOTIC's prior written authorisation is prohibited, with the exception of short quotations accompanied by an attribution of source.
Third-party trade marks, names and logos that may be cited or reproduced on this site remain the property of their respective holders and are displayed only with their authorisation.
4. Status of the technical data published
The technical characteristics of equipment presented on this site — throughputs, power ratings, temperature ranges, yields — are design orders of magnitude intended to guide the thinking of project developers. They constitute neither a contractual commitment nor a performance guarantee.
The contractual performance of an installation is defined in the corresponding technical and commercial offer, drawn up after characterisation of the raw material and a sizing study, and then verified at the load acceptance test of the installation.
5. Limitation of liability
SOTIC endeavours to ensure the accuracy of the information published and to keep it up to date. Errors or omissions may nevertheless remain. SOTIC cannot be held liable for investment decisions taken solely on the basis of the general information on this site, without a prior study appropriate to the project concerned.
The site may contain links to third-party sites. SOTIC exercises no control over their content and disclaims all liability in that respect.
6. Privacy policy
6.1 Data collected
The only personal data collected by this site is what the visitor voluntarily submits through the contact and quotation forms: name, organisation, e-mail address, telephone number, project location and message content. No sensitive data is requested.
6.2 Purpose of processing
This data is used solely to handle the request made: to answer a technical question, prepare a quotation, arrange a visit or send a document. It is not sold, rented or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.
6.3 Recipients
The data is accessible only to SOTIC staff responsible for handling commercial and technical enquiries, and to the technical provider maintaining the site, strictly within the limits of its work.
6.4 Retention period
Enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to handle them and to manage any commercial relationship that follows. Precise period to be defined with SOTIC
6.5 Rights of individuals
Any person may request access to the data concerning them, its correction or erasure, or object to its processing, by writing to the contact address given in article 1. A reply is provided within a reasonable period.
6.6 Security
The site is protected by a TLS certificate, an application filtering system, anti-spam protection on the forms and automated off-site backups. These measures aim to preserve the confidentiality and integrity of the data submitted.
7. Cookies and third-party services
The site uses no advertising cookie and no profiling tracker. Two third-party services may be called, under the following conditions:
- Google Maps: the location map is loaded only after the visitor explicitly clicks the button provided. Until that button is used, no data is sent to Google.
- WhatsApp: the contact button opens the WhatsApp application or website in a new tab. No data is transmitted before that deliberate action.
To be completed if an audience measurement tool is installed: should a statistics service be added, a consent banner will have to be put in place and this section updated.
8. Accessibility
The site has been designed seeking sufficient contrast between text and background, a hierarchical heading structure, text alternatives for images carrying information, keyboard-operable navigation and a display suited to phone and tablet screens. Any difficulty in accessing information can be reported to the contact address: an alternative will be provided.
9. Governing law
This site and this notice are governed by Ivorian law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Côte d'Ivoire.
